Glenn Carlson, LSP

Senior Project Manager

Glenn joined AEI in 2004 with over 15 years experience with projects involving investigation, design and implementation of clean-up actions throughout New England.  He has expertise in the evaluation of the nature, extent and distribution of contamination, determination of subsurface hydrogeologic characteristics and contaminant fate and transport at residential, commercial, and industrial properties.  This includes Method 1, 2 and 3 site-specific risk assessments and implementation of remedial actions to achieve closure at sites involving oil, solvent, and metals contamination.  He has designed, and supervised  the installation of insitu-chemical oxidation systems for the remediation of oil and hazardous materials in soil and groundwater.

Glenn’s list of projects include the remediation of the solvent and metals contamination to support redevelopment of the abandoned industrial property you drive past on your way to work, overseeing the clean-up of the roadway spill seen on your local news channel, the assessment and remediation of your corner gas station, as wells as, responding to the leaking oil tank in your neighbor’s basement.

Momin K. Uddin, PhD, CPG

Principal Hydrologist

Dr. Uddin coordinates Action Environmental resources to assure all projects advance toward goals within scheduled timeframes. He reviews project for technical merit, conformance with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) where applicable and supportable conclusions.

As Principal Hydrologist, he serves as a project manager for hydrologically complex investigations, site assessments, feasibility studies and remedial actions. He is a Certified Professional Geoelogist, a Massachusetts Title V, and a Industiral Wastewater Treatment Operator Grade IV.

 

Ray Harpin

Senior Geologist

Mr. Harpin serves as chief corporate quality assurance and quality control officer. He oversees in-house training, quality assurance and quality control for environmental sampling and laboratory resting. He has wealth of experience managing, designing and conducting indoor air sampling projects and also in hazardous waste human health risk assessments. Mr. Harpin received a M.S. in Geology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980.

Holly Santangelo

Senior Environmental Engineer

Ms Santangelo has over 20 years of environmental engineering experience. She oversees the mold inspection team and is responsible for scheduling, quality control and interpreting lab results.
